VIA University College offers a number of study programs within pedagogical, social, health professional, technical and financial areas. The main task of VIA Library is to support students and employees at VIA University College. Both physical and digital materials are purchased within these areas.

VIA Library is a public library. The majority of the materials at VIA Library are searchable through www.bibliotek.dk and netpunkt. The library is part of the national transportation arrangement. VIA Library is located at many different addresses and the extent to which the public can access the individual library units differs.

Access to electronic resources
Most electronic resources can be used at all VIA locations and most of them are accessible by remote access for employees and students. At all VIA Library locations, all library users can access the electronic resources at the premises.

Making reservations for VIA Library materials 
Reservations made in the library database are handled on a daily basis. Library users must collect reserved materials themselves.

Reservation of materials from other libraries
VIA Library handles reservations for materials outside of our own collection. Most materials are obtained within 1-3 weeks. The library user is notified as soon as the materials can be collected.
