To use VIA Library's self-service machines, you need a 4-digit PIN. Follow the instructions below based on your affiliation with VIA.

  • Students and staff

    To borrow materials from VIA Library, you must create a personal 4-digit PIN to use with your CPR number on the self-service machines.

    Instructions:

    Go to "Login" and select "Students and staff". Log in using your VIA login (this happens automatically). Click on your name in the top-right corner and select "Library card". Under "Personal details", choose "Change your pin code". Enter your new 4-digit PIN.

    Once completed, you are ready to borrow from the libraries. If you experience issues logging in, contact your local VIA Library.

  • Borrowers not affiliated with VIA

    If you are an external borrower without affiliation with VIA, you need to create both a password to see your library status online and a PIN to borrow materials.

    Instructions:

    Go to "Log In" and select "Other". Click on "Reset password" and use the email address registered with VIA Library. After resetting your password, log in. Under "Library card", go to "Personal details" and select "Change your pin code". Enter a 4-digit PIN.

    Your PIN will be used together with your CPR number on the self-service machines. If you encounter problems creating or using your PIN, contact the library.
